- I inspect my harness, lanyard, lifeline before use and ensure their suitability for task.
- I secure tools and materials to prevent dropping objects.
- I wear a certified harness and tie off to approved anchor points as per the work permit.
- I use fit for purpose scaffholding/MEWP validated by an approving authority & do not move it with the worker on top.
- I respect the minimum safety distance (4 m) when working near power lines and stop work in adverse weather conditions.
- I always maintain three-point contact while ascending or descending on elevated platforms or tank truck ladders.
- I only move a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) in its low position.
